100 Word Challenge Week 34#


I woke up panicking. I got changed and drove to an old bridge. A man was waiting there for me, I didn’t know who he was but I got out of my car and met him. I saw him reach for something. There was a huge lump in my throat but then I saw a bungee cable. I realized why I was here; I saw figures moving in the forest. It was my friend’s prank. I also noticed my friends had a daffodil neck less so I was guessing they flew in from their vacation also they were still sprinkled in sand. They gave me a pink helmet and I had to jump.

It was late at night; I was with my friend Mordicai we were telling stories on the way home. An odd man in a black trench coat asked us if we wanted to fly we naturally said yes and he distributed an umbrella and he faded into the night sky. We were moving very fast when we were holding the umbrella, to fast we started flying but we couldn't control it, Mordicai's hand slipped and landed on a soft bush but I was flying under a volcano, the umbrella started to lower and everything was gone. Mom said it was just a nightmare, just a nightmare...
